Hunt for Red Gold by October...
I am yearning for an RG watch on a strap. Can't afford a DJ or high end piece. Saw a B&M Clifton 10059 but it has a Sellita (ETA clone) movement. At that price point (I figure ~5k w/ disc) I realize it won't be in house but I'd rather not sell anything to fund this.
Any comments on those movements? Any suggestions? Thx |

Nice thread title and one of my favorite movies.
As for a recommendation, perhaps vintage will give you more in-house options at a lower price point? If you're looking new I wouldn't be hasty and save until you get into the $10k+ range. |

I am also in the market for a rose gold watch on strap. Can you buy used or so you need new? There are a number out there. Zenith Blancpain ect that get you there price wise.

Yeah, I could go used, even if a service is needed I'd probably save $ over new since typically gold doesn't hold its value as well as SS and someone else will have eaten the depreciation. It will be a hunt indeed, and I need to save up some more $$.
