PJ yes, AD no. Best bet is 47th ST in NYC. Look around especially in the booths in the back. Price is always higher for window displays and booths in the front. and by all means get ready to haggle on price.

Great info, will check them out soon. What's 47th St? One store or several stores around 47th street? Any other suggestions?

Something with an older style dial - Submariner 1680. I'd like to see the watch in person rather than buy it online. I didn't think they would be worth so much!

Hi fatso,
I`m going to New York in may and I`m looking for some vintage rolexes or a new 116710 Did you find a good shop?? Any recommendations?? I had contact with yeager watches, but they think a 116710 is 7500 $ worth! I guess I will not find a GMT II SS for a reasonable prize. Thanks for any help or sugesstions.... Jo Short Introduction: I`m Jo, 31 years old, living in Hamburg/Germany. Got my first real watch some weeks ago - IWC Mark XV. This little watch still puts a smile on my face every single day. But the next one has to be a rolex. I`m sure you guys ( and the few girls ) will help me to find the right one......... |
