Daytona Watches
Can anybody please tell me, if a Daytona watch is fitted with the new Parachrom hairspring? |

Yeah, I recently saw a print ad featuring the Daytona and the blue parachrom spring.
Just snapped a really hurried pic of it... |

Now that's a cool advertisment. I've never seen a golden daytona advertisment ever. I see the new yachtmaster II and the day date all the time

not so straightforward...
if you do a search on TZ under the modern Rolex forum you'll see that a number of people posted the same question.
More specifically people wanted to know WHEN it was introduced into the Daytona. James Dowling said he'd speak to Rolex and post back with a definitive answer.... to my knowledge no post ever appeared. I'm certain that M serial DTs have the spring, and most likely Z serials too. but nobody really seems to know when they were introduced or whether it was during the D or Z series. |

That may be true Pittster..
But the point here is that when the Parachrom Bleu was introduced, it was the Daytona, and their 4130 movement that it was put into.. Then when the GMT IIc was introduced, it too got the Bleu..
