Deployant clasp

Folks I am contemplating the purchase of a deploy clasp and that begs the following questions

How do owners like them over regular clasp? I e how do they compare.
Can one get a deploy clasp made from titanium?
What's the best way to obtain oem product when the closest AD is 1600 miles away.
Thank you for any help

I try to put a deployant clasp on as many watches I can. I find them much more comfortable.

It's easy to buy online.

I believe the straps (even though those that goes into the deployant clasps are thinner on one end) will last longer with the deployant clasp). However, I personally find the release buttons on the clasp slightly annoying and digs into my skin. Overall, I like tang buckles better.

Deployants are less comfy than tang but do save your straps. As such I'll use deployant a with expensive straps and tang with cheap for comfortable straps.

Deployants are less comfy, but I prefer them over tang buckles. They do come in titanium. They pop up from time to time on here and other forums for sale. Alternatively, a good AD may have them in stock and would ship, if not, they can order it in, but the wait times are highly variable and it might take a while. Where in Canada are you located?

Hi
I use both. A tang on my 321 and a deployment on my 214. I like them both but I do find the tang more comfortable.

Tang is comfortable, you can get the deployant in titanium if you want to but remember that some straps are made for tang only and some are made for deployant only.

Might be conservative but for me Panerais are made to have tang, sure it messes up the straps but I love them, the deployants just don't have the same look for me, but just my opinion, on metal bracelets sure but on straps... Especially I am more than sure that Panerai charges a great deal for them, 15 years ago a Breitling deployant was at around 200 euros, so imagine a Panerai one 15 years later
