Watch Stops

Wife bought me a new from AD 14060M Dec 2011 (50th Birthday) Last fall sent it for service as I found it was running fast and power reserve was about 24 hours, it was returned saying adjustments had been made. Last week after giving it a full 40 winds as it had sitting a few days it ran about 14 hours and stopped (gentle shake, nothing) Full wind again 10:30 am, wore it all day and stopped 5:30 next morning. Kept it on my wrist all day, not wound (active day) until I dropped it off for service. Still dead. Thoughts?

It can be as simple as a loose screw... It can be much more complex too... it's difficult to analyze a movement without actually seeing it...

I hear you, and I understand. I see thus kind of problem almost every day, and it's hardly ever the same problem...

"repaired at no charge"

Four wonderful little words

Glad it worked out in your favor.

Repaired, loose jewel caused by what they believe was a blow. Upon return the dealer asked if I might have banged it. I told them I wear it all the time and beat the hell out of it. They just smiled and told me to enjoy the watch .... Only fear now is how careful I need to be with it .
