It is my pleasure to present an extremely rare 1976, 1665, Double reference Tiffany dial Double Red Sea Dweller. Serial: 4058xxx

Several experts, including Rolex Service Center of New York City, have confirmed this watch’s authenticity.

The watch comes with the Original Guarantee Certificate paper as well as Rolex Service Center paperwork from Rolex Bexley from its last RSC service in 2008.

Dial: All original Double Red, Double Reference Tiffany signed dial. The dial is a Mark IV red, which sustained some minor chipping around the 27-30 hour marker where the dial meets the case during a prior service. This is a well-known issue for Mark IV dials and was recently sealed by Bob Ridley for preservation purposes. The hour markers have an even and flawless vanilla cream patina.

Case: Phenomenal thick case with minimal (if any) polishing. Wonderful factory beveled edges on thick, even lugs.

Hands: Original, perfectly matching, vanilla cream patina.

Movement / Service History: Recent light cleaning by Bob Ridley. Runs well within COSC specs and has been pressure tested.

Bezel / Insert: The bezel and insert are Rolex service replacements, however, the tritium pearl has been sourced to match nicely with the original dial and hands.

Crystal: NOS Rolex T-39 Superdome. Flawless.

Caseback: Crisp threads with Serial number engraving on inside. (See photos from Bob Ridley)

Bracelet: Original, tight 9315 “pateted” with 380 end pieces.
