The Pain of Waiting

So...just bought my first Rolex. New SubC with date. I don't need to tell you how excited I am, and how nervously I will be checking the shipping updates!

Any good stories about the pains of waiting for your first Rolex to come in the mail?!?

Thanks for all the help on this forum I have received!

Congrats in advance! It's like waiting for Santa's arrival on X-Mas morning.

Can't wait for the unveiling.

Congratulations!! I use to take the day off and refresh the fedex tracking page a 1000 times. I generally would not do a thing until the watch arrived.

Congrats on your incoming. Just don't punch the fedex guy like I was ready to do because he always always comes early. Then just because I was so excited to get my new watch from a certain TRF trusted seller in FL this past Friday, the fedex guy came at 10:29am. ugh it was agony!! but worth it. so happy with my new watch!

Congrats.
I had a neighbour accept my package when I was at work. He was obviously unaware of the value, but it sent my head spinning when I received a notification that the package was delivered and I was still at work.
I raced home only to wait for my neighbour to return from his little shopping trip to the city hours later.
I feel your pain.....

Even worse is waiting for the watch... finally getting your hands on it.... then having to send it off for service!!

That's the ultimate "pain of waiting"!!!!

I bought my Rolex from an AD but have gone through your pains and emotions while waiting for others. I sat camped at the window for an hour or two watching the road (I had opted to work from home that day). Then went inside to take a few calls, kept coming back to the window every time something sounding like a truck passed by
