AZ or LV Watchmaker Recommendations?
Hi All,
I've posted on here a couple times. My dad gave me his 6239 Paul Newman. It did not have the original bracelet so I asked for advice on which bracelet to get. Some members advised a 78350 with 571 end links. I bought a bracelet from member of this site. He has been incredibly helpful. The end links do not quite fit. I've heard this is a common problem and it's best to have a skilled watchmaker manually adjust the end links to fit the watch. Problem is I live in a small town in AZ and there is no one here competent enough to do this kind of work. I have a couple trips planned to Las Vegas, and Scottsdale/Phoenix is only a couple hours away. Can anyone recommend a skilled watchmaker in either of those locations who could handle this kind of job? I've been told that the Wynn has a large Rolex boutique, and that Torneau has a large showroom in Vegas. Would either of those locations have someone skilled to do this type of work? Any recommendations would be appreciated. |

You could call ED Marshal's in Scottsdale and ask them if they would do something like that while you wait, they have tech's on staff.
Or, send the watch to a Bob Ridley, TX or ABC Watchwerks in LA. I don't think the stores in Vegas would even give you the time of day, honestly... |
