Accuracy question

I have a 5513 from 1980. It has had a full service recently. It keeps the time +-0/24h when not on the arm, but gains about 5-6s when worn. Is this what to be expected from a cal 1520 (I guess)?

until taken out of service yesterday, my old 167533 rootbeer, from the same era, gained 5-6 secs/day from last service 5 years ago, when worn daily.

Tolerance specs from Rolex on that movement are 1- to +10 seconds per day with a maximum timing variation of 25 seconds in 5 positions. Your watch is running fine. Over the long term, from my experience, 1520's-30s tend to slow further into the service interval.

Best,
Doug

Thanks for a very informative reply! Then I am satisfied with the accuracy :)

Not bad for a watch that is almost 35 years old...
