New Rolex, 16234

I have been a member for a while and enjoy reading about everyone's watches. I recently purchased my first Rolex, a 16234, from a reputable seller in Boston.

The watch seems all original except for the high polish on the center links, which was done prior to the purchase. I have been enjoying the watch. The case/dial/bezel/bracelet combination is exactly what I have been looking for. If I ever send it in to Rolex for a service, and it was something I wanted done in the future, can they put the original finish back on the center links?

One quick story about the watch. My wife and I had our first Child, born on July 4th. While in the hospital with the baby, the wall clock in our room was broken. When the nurses came into the room to check the baby's heartbeat, they had to use the second hand on my watch to time it.

Welcome to the Forum.

Yes, Rolex can refinish your bracelet back to original.

Not only "can" they refinish the bracelet, they may insist on it. Mainly to return it to original finish.

Congrats on both recent additions

Thanks for all the comments!

I have a 1 year warranty from the shop I purchased the watch from, so I will probably wait until that is up to have a Rolex service done. I will post some after pictures if the center links are finished back to original.

My amateur photography skills did not really show the color of the dial right, its actually a black stick dial. This picture was taken in better light, its tough to get a good shot of the dial with my camera phone.

Welcome and congrats! I like the PCL's. It gives it the newer DJ model look.
