Diver bezel discrepancy

Hey guys was trying to figure out why in some pictures, for example AP website, the ceramic diver bezel looks like the marker at 12 is half on the rotating portion and half off. If that makes sense.

Please see the AP example with the half/half to me eye bezel

And then what I think looks good, in this example a screenshot of fightonsc's diver. (Sorry for poaching your shot J, hope you don't mind)

What am I missing here?

I think for the AP website, their photoshop artist got lazy and just copied and pasted the forged carbon diver dial and bezel, and changed it to orange. The images are identical otherwise. The real ceramic diver has a different bezel from the FC.

My SS diver always looked like that too, however looking close at it it seemed it was a sort of optical illusion because under a loupe it was dead center.

You will love it. It can take a knock and come out perfect. The only downside is that it has become my go to black watch, so much so that I cannot justify getting the 44mm forged carbon anymore!

That is the FC's bezel with the wedged lume triangle at 12 that was used for the promo pics (I suppose they either painted one or photoshopped it for the pictures).

The production model came out as shown in the pictures above.

It was probably a photoshop oversight

Thanks guys. I understand how marketing photography works these days but it's still hilarious our members are a better source than APs own website
