Has anyone received discounts for 5711 from an AD?

Hi, looking into possibly acquiring 5711. I'm hearing that this model is not discounted much. But has nyone received discounts from. AD? If yes, how much of a discount?
Also, please let me know what a regular overhaul should run on 5711. Should one do it every 5 years as recommended?

I got a nice discount from my AD but this was several years ago. As for service, I'd send it in when it's showing signs of needing service. Currently a service and polish for the 5711/1a is $1140 usd.

Generally when you buy a watch in Patek salon, they offer you the first service

It all depends on the relationship you have with your AD.
If you buy a lot of Patek you can easily obtain a 15%.
If you are a first buyer.....list price.

If you're going to go swinning with it, it would be advisable to get the seals checked before 5 years. Not sure if / how that can be done outside of a service.
