how does this white dial 16550 look to you?

I have the black dial version and would like to have the pair, is there anything untoward with this example...?

This is the only white dial with b&p I have seen for sale.

I assume replacement hands? And i'm ignoring the 'cream dial' claim.

Thanks, as always.

There are a couple of examples here for sale. Shipping might be a bit more but maybe worth it to know who you are buying from.

I'd prefer white gold surrounds to the newer black, if memory serves the black started at the middle "R" series or so. Any before should have white gold or the dial and hands have been replaced. Jedly has a lot of good information given on these, google him & see his perspective. m

thanks for the info, this is an R series so black surrounds correct. Seller still claims original hands, but is that really a deal breaker?

Note that it depends, early R's had white gold and some cream dials, but past first third of R production most had changed to the black surrounds and hands. From my experience only & purchased watches. m
