Rolex repair in Rhode island

My Rolex Oyster Perpetual with out a date feature is running slow erratically, sometimes 2 minutes in a week. I would think it needs service or cleaning. I live in the Buffalo, N.Y. area and was advised by jewelry store where it was purchased that they have Rolex watches serviced by some specialist in Rhode Island. The Jeweler would charge me about $500 for a cleaning after sending the watch to their repair associate in Rhode Island. Any labor and extra parts would most likely cost more.

The jeweler said I could save $100 by using the Rhode Island specialist vs. sending the watch direct to Rolex for the same service.

Can any forum members advise if they are aware of the name and location of a Rhode Island Rolex repair specialist? It would be worth my knowing more about the quality of work that could be expected. In fact, I plan a trip to the Providence, Rhode island area in a few weeks and might consider taking the watch there myself.
