Red Date Wheel Change Out for YM

Just my second post.. but after reading and lurking, I have decided to look into changing out the date wheel on my YM to red. After some research I found the there are a couple of date wheels available. One for the Turn-O-Graph ( 3130/3135) and one for the GMT Explorer II.

The question is.. are either of these " Drop In" parts or do they need modification?

Thank you for your help

Both should be "drop in" without modification. However the process to change them is going to require a good watchmaker who knows how to take care of the hands/dial when removing them. Ive seen many rolex and other watches that come across my bench with bad hand removal scratches on the dial.

Good luck
