wear it, enjoy it, get more scratches, repeat. It'll look like new again when it comes back serviced.

Like others will tell you.
Just enjoy it, and when it comes time to service, she will be as good as new.

Getting any watch scratched is just a simple fact of wearing and would expect quite a few more in its life. All scratches should be left to normal routine service 5-7 years. After service watch will look as good as new only to get scratched again in daily wearing.

1st scratch is the hardest. You won't feel the same by the 3rd/4th.......

Nobody else will notice it

The 1st always hurts the most!

When I first got my EXP II, within a week I'd smacked it hard on a metal door handle putting a tiny mark on the bezel. Stomach dropped, tears welled, etc. but after a cocktail or 2 I forgot about it.

Trust the people here, these things are going to happen. It would just not be feasible to fix every single ding/scratch you are going to get if you wear it everyday.

It was bound to happen eventually. Grab a drink and understand RSC will make it new at service time

Plenty more where that came from over the years to come.
All tell a story on the watch.
Don't worry about it.

1st one is the most painfull. Do not worry about and leave it like it is. You remove this one, the next one will come in couple and days... Enjoy your watch, you bought the watch, the watch did not bought you... When you send it to service, it will look like new again..

The first one sucks but these are meant to be worn. Anywhere, anyhow. Enjoy that gorgeous watch! There will be more scratches to come. No worries.

Hi mate
Thanks for reply I don't know how it happened I've been trying to wear this watch without treating it like I've got a painted egg on my wrist!
It's mad isn't it
I've always gone on a downer when I scratched watches.tried to buff them out and made the watch look worse
So I said this time il deal with the scratches when they come coz I regret messing about with cape cod cloths etc
Just after some reassurance and I reminder that scratches are part of the deal

You can get it faded off with a mf cloth and good quality paste. However, these things are inevitable as long as you wear that watch.
Dents are what I fear the most because you may need special tools to repair the damage and each time you use these tools some part of the metal of the watch is going according to what I read in these forums

Actually almost everyone on TRF is British, they just pretend to be American. It's a little-known TRF fact.

It can be polished away. I dropped my first omega from a considerable height onto marble within days of getting it. Resulted in some irrecoverable deep cuts on its side. But I've gotten used to it to the point that it's now part of my watch's identity.

Most rolex should offer new watches in a pre-scratched finish. Instant tool watch look.

If you wear it you scratch it, simple as that. Don't want scratches? Don't wear it.

I would leave it well alone.

Don't be talked into a DIY 'fix' unless you particularly enjoy stress.
