Just got my 1st but what's with the bar code on the side?
It's an Explorer II with the black dial.
I got it from an AD, everything so far looks fantastic but I'm curious as to why there's a bar code on the side of the watch? It's an M serial with the engraved inner bezel. Thanks for any help, pics to follow! |

bar code is on the plastic, just peel it off

peel it off. its just for an inventory scan , { i think } my milgauss had one as well. congrats, wear it in good health. franklin |

Yeah, it's for internal Rolex purposes. Just peel it off.

As long as you wrap your wrist in aluminum foil before putting your watch on, there's no need to remove the bar code
