Daytona Half-Link?

Anyone know if there is an option for a half-link for a SS Daytona bracelet 78590? I found this thread, but it didn't work out since the GMT-II link holes were a different size than the OP was looking for.

Anyone know if the GMTII or Milgauss or YM have a PCL half-link available that would work on a Daytona bracelet? ie...same hole size, link width and thickness, etc

Here is the thread that i was referring to when it didn't work out
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=251039

Please let me know. I am having difficulties centering the clasp on my wrist.

Thanks
Tyler

also....it's not a matter of finding the right fit for my wrist, but the position of the clasp on my wrist. I have utilized the easy-link along with the 3 micro-adjustments in the clasp, and I have found the proper circumference for fit, however, the clasp is biased towards the 6-oclock side. I was looking to add in a half link on the 6-oclock side and slide in the microadjustment on the 12-oclock side to compensate for the additional length. This would shift the whole clasp to the 12-oclock side of my wrist to center up the clasp. for the summer, i currently have the easy-link extended. the micro-adjustment is on the largest/furthest out hole. fits perfectly in this configuration.

Simple answer, no. The only way I know of is to order the subc bracelet half link and polish the middle if you so desire. To my knowledge, no PCL style bracelet has a half link on it or even has one available as on option.

It is curious that the older style YM PCL half link won't work in this situation, but can't say as I'm surprised...why would Rolex make it easy for those of us who need it?

Mine isn't centered either but it doesn't bother me much. I gave up looking for a half-link for BLNR.

As mentioned above the only option I can think of is to get a sub c half link and polish the centre. It's a bit odd Rolex don't offer this. They do odd sized bracelet links for the jubilee and president so why not the oyster.

Kind of the same deal with mine. My wrist is right around 7 inches. My watch is a 2013 with three micro adjustments inside the clasp plus the small extension. I had to play with it a lot to get it to sit well.

I finally settled on - 5 links at 6 position. 4 links at 12 position. Micro adjustment in the middle of the clasp and small extension in closed position for normal wear. It is only slightly biased towards the 12 position on the bottom of the wrist which I prefer to the opening end of the clasp being biased to the outside. I don't think that really matters but it was personal preference as I felt that it was more likely to catch the opening end of the clasp on something. I've done about everything including moving links from one side to the other. It's been a process!

Between the clasp adjustment and links I think you can get it darn close to centered using the 3 positions inside the clasp to help out with almost any sized wrist.

Has anyone tried polishing a half-link from a sub and fitting to a PCL bracelet? I'm wondering how successful this would be !

Pretty sure it would not be a problem. The bracelets are the same size roughly

I have a half link on a Daytona and another on a Explorer , both are brushed. No need to polish the one on the pcl as they are not seen unless clasp is open.

Which side do you have the half link on the Daytona? 6 or 12?

I'll have to see if I can find a sub half link in the classifieds. Or post a WTB. Thanks for the help!

I have a sub half link I polished with a dremmel and fit to my GMT IIC on the six o'clock side. Fits like it was made for the bracelet.

Your clasp may not be centred but is where it needs to be to stop the watch from rolling round your wrist.

Maybe that's why it doesn't bother me that much.
