Best position to leave Rolex in overnight
I heard that when resting the watch on its side and not facing up as this puts strain on the bracelet, however I am worried that the weight of the watch will push into the crown. Is this something to worry about or is it safe to do this?

This is the second idiotic question I have seen from you. Any more and it will be for you. Get my drift?

If you want equilibrium, keep it in a bi-directional watch winder.

For me the storage position depends strictly on if a particular orientation keeps better time. For example, my GMT is a couple of seconds slow in every position except face down. In this crystal down position it runs 0.5 seconds fast. So that's how I store it when it's in rotation.
Other than that it doesn't really matter.

It may be the same person signing on with different accounts. If that's the case clearly he (or she?) has nothing better to do--best to ignore obviously stupid questions. It makes me appreciate good moderators.

Usually in an untenable position.
