Update on my longtime favorite dealer
As many of you know, Jim's wife became seriously ill and he began an effort to seriously reduce, if not liquidate, his existing inventory of over 200 NIB Omegas. Unfortunately several weeks ago, Jim himself was hospitalized.
Having spent too much time in hospitals myself, I was reluctant to bother him so I relied on his wife for info on Jim. Since today was his 83rd birthday, I decided it was time to give him a call. He said the doctors have yet to diagnose his problem so his return to business as usual is undetermined as well. Theirs is truly a "mom and pop" operation but Jim is exploring possibilities that might enable him to meet the needs of his old, and new, customers. Please keep Jim and June in your prayers and stay tuned for future updates. |

Thanks for sharing Fr. John. Just last month I purchased my first Omega from Jim, Skyfall 42 blue, and I couldn't be happier. A true gentleman and expert on omega watches as well. Hope he and his wife get well real soon.

Thanks for the update total class guy. I learned about him from these forums but I was lucky enough to live in northern va and deal with him in person. I even bought a diamond necklace from him for my wife. Incredible prices, but just a great guy.

Oh! sorry to hear that. I purchased my first Omega (42mm PO 2500) from Jim as well. It was a pleasure to speak with him on the phone. My thoughts are with him and his wife. Thanks Fr. John for the update.

Got a call from Jim and he will be coming home this Saturday. He's still not 100% and may be working from home for a while.
Thanks for all the prayers. |

Hopefully a speedy recovery. I've only bought two watches brand new, and they were both through him. Really great and thoughtful seller.
