K2 Luxury in Geneva/Dubai

I ran across K2 Luxury on chrono24, they listed many new Patek watches for sale with Patek's two-year international warranty, often with great prices, though they're not an AD. Has anyone had any experience with K2 Luxury? Are they a reputable company?

Thanks.

They are very reputable. Shahz is a great guy. If you purchase a special piece he will fly the piece to you. Anywhere around the globe. He is a dear friend. Great guy. Nothing but good things to say about K2 and him.

In looking at their website, they seem to have quite a collection of Greubel Forsey, MB&F, RM, in addition to the PP Celestials, Perpetual Chronos and 175th Anniversary pieces. They must have quite a list of high-end clients.

+1.

It's amazing how they can acquire these pieces and amass such impressive inventory of hard to get pieces.

I could be wrong, but I imagine most of the watches are on consignment. Otherwise inventory alone will be in the tens of millions CHF. You can imagine what the owner would pay just for insurance if this was all inventory pieces. I think a number of high end collectors give the watch agent a list of watches they are willing to sell for a certain price and it is listed on their website on consignment.

Yes they are reputable, you don't need to get a Patek from an AD unless you don't trust them and I am thinking about getting a Lange from them

Thank you all for your quick replies/comments.

I wonder if there are members in US who have experience in purchasing a watch from them.

Thanks you.

the blue on that 5711P is amazing, they have great pieces, also the RM 27-01 amongst others, and not only from Patek or RM, haven't heard of them though so can't say anything about their reputation but their offerings might not be great quantity wise but sure are quality wise...

Anyone call on the price of the 5711p? never heard an accurate market value.

My guess....150? 2?

Gentlemen, for your info, we are a small humble family business, based in Geneva Switzerland with a presence in Dubai.
We focus on sourcing "hard to get watches" and other limited edition pieces, we fly the GLOBE to find the impossible and offer the best pieces to our customers.

There are a lot of hot pieces we can't even post online on our instagram (@k2luxurywatches) on chrono24 or on our website.

We would be glad to maybe serve you one day.

Dear Friends, “HauteHorlogerie”, “Abdullasaif” and “RedGlasses”, thank you very much for the kind words, means a lot !

Shahz

Hi, yes we are in Dubai we had an office in the hotel but they wanted to change the floor where we were into hotel rooms so we moved to "Business Bay" now.

At the moment I am afraid we can't see you in Dubai because we are all in Switzerland for the SIHH 2016 watch fair, back in Dubai on 22nd January 2016

Send us an email if you are looking for anything special

Never bought from K2 but heard from friends they are good. In the grey market reputation is everything, especially in the high end, words gets out fast if a transaction went bad, so far haven't heard any trouble with K2.

Thomas I am not sure to me whether you are attempting to be humorous (in which case) but if you are serious then I don’t think it is right to tar them all with the same brush. There are many bad ones I agree but also many average ones and a few good ones.

Could be my friend and I have no idea who these guys are so you are right to call me out but I do see them advertise current production stuff at outrageously high prices from time to time online.... yes it’s a market and supply and demand but it shocks the conscious sometimes! That is all and best

I think the subject of grey market pricing more generally is a different topic. I was simply responding to the OP’s question and confirming that K2 are totally legit in my experience with them. I have no qualms recommending them unlike many other dealers I have used over the years.
