Icon8 lost ups rolex

I had it shipped from bernard watch to my dad in Chandler. He went to a UPS store in Chandler and shipped it two day signature required. UPS said they have 8 days to investigate and have checked lost and found, nothing

I hope you had insurance on it. A box labeled from Bernard Watche is a very easy target...

Bernard watch insures all packages, call them and they will go through the claim process with you.

It seems that they successfully delivered it to the OP's dad.

Dad then shipped to OP through UPS.

It's all down to the insurance, whatever level of protection was taken.

What a horrible situation - As far as Bernard, they're in the clear. Please correct me if I am wrong but you can only insure high value with overnight shipping.

Well, my dad got the two day signature required shipping on watch at the ups store and $5000 insurance coverage. And UPS seems to be taking their sweet time doing anything on this. I am so upset.

Icon8 insurance

My dad had it insured for $5000. I hope ups honors this they are being very not helpful during this either IMO. I have talked to many people and every time I talk to someone they have a different story. First it was the investigation was over in 8 business days, now it has changed to 10 business days. Nothing seems to be happening.

I think UPS will find the package.

I really hope it was insured, just in case.

My friend worked for UPS for 5 years. He told me the packagers get really familiar with some of these boxes and can generally guess pretty well as to what the contents are. Chances are, it isn't lost, it was probably swiped. Hope you had insurance on it and it comes to a resolution to your liking.

I will definitely let everyone know what ends up happening with UPS and this whole process. I am very upset to say the least about this. Actually, upset, disgusted, heartbroken.

I sure hope that you are made whole, whether it be UPS finding the watch or through insurance claim procedure. Best of luck.

Keep the faith, Jane. It may show up. I've read some pretty amazing happy ending stories here on TRF.

That sucks. I hope you get your watch back. Really sucks to have had it and then lost it like that.

My AD will only use Fed Ex (as I am sure you will from now on) as they handle the package from start to finish. UPS contracts with the USPS to move some freight. And we all know how effective they are.

I am sure fed ex loses stuff. I am sure the USPS does a great job most of the time.

But it seems every time I have a package that is ups that gets delayed or had been turned over to USPS to move and left somewhere for 3 days before it moved.

If UPS can lose a whole engine (and then auction if off) while telling the receiver it can't be found I'm sure small packages with Rolexes in side are even easier to lose.

My dad is 78 years old too, so I really have to help him with this process. And UPS will only tell me certain things because I am the receiver. This STINKS!
