Milgauss--when will they become more available?

Does Rolex intend to keep the Milgauss model somewhat "rare" similar to what they have done with the SS Daytona? I was going to take a trip to the dealer but was wondering what my chances are for trying on the Milgauss?

Evidently the word from Rolex is that the GV is starting to trickle through after they initially experienced a difficulty with the crystal.
However, they are still very rare and if you go on a waiting list for a Milgauss GV you will be waiting a period of years.
The other two models of Milgauss are in a different availability class and can now be found without too much difficulty.
In relation to the GV the question is whether Rolex is genuinely restricted in the numbers it can produce because of complications regarding the manufacture of the green crystal, or it is a deliberate marketing ploy to limit production and thereby create market hype and exclusivity.
I don't know the answer to that last question.

Even the AD around me has one (black face) in stock - it *must* be getting pretty common. GV is nowhere to be found though.

I am number one on my AD's list for the GV and have been for over a year. None have come to any ADs in my state to date. He feels that I will get my DSSD before I see the GV.

Only time will tell. However, Rolex would be interested in having at least a couple of hyped up models in their range since this gets more customers to the AD's asking for them; the customers potentially leaving with other models being offered as alternatives.
