Hello there my friends!

As many of you allready know I was quite busy these past few weeks, shootin the zombie movie called "Zone of the Dead", starring Ken Foree, Kristina Klebe and yours only...

And now, the shooting is over and the raw material is in editing room! I saw few minutes of edited material and, believe me, it looks very, very good!

And what about this thread? Should I hire George Hamilton for next zombie flick? Or another vampire comedy, "Love at first bite, part II" ...?

Unfortunately, no! I`m just poor movie producer, too small to even ask mr. Hamilton to make some cameo in some of my future movies...but eventually...who knows?

This is thread about my first Hamilton watch that I ever lay my hands on!
And I instantly bought it!
I just couldn`t resist desire to have one really HUGE watch (43 or 44mm), with very tough presence and quality finish! And I got it for a very fair price!

This monster is powered by ETA 2895-2 movement, well known for small seconds and date positioned at number 6.

But, enough talk! Let`s go to the pictures!

until the late 1960's Hamilton was produced in Lancaster, Pa. right around the corner from me.....but like so many other products, now produced abroad. nice watch!

Hamiliton makes a good solid watch. Lots of history with Hamilton, especially with the US military in WWII.

I really like some of the new models/designs Hamiliton is coming out with. And I am a real sucker for their old pocketwatches.

They do indeed.

Also same goes for me with the pocket watches. Such history behind those as well. Never had any passed down to me so would go out hunting eventually to add a few to my collection.

Very cool watch. I love Hamiltons too, but don't have one of the new ones. This 992 RR watch dates from 1917 and still runs great!

This 992B from 1951 was put together with a NOS SS case and new dial for an every day carry watch.

It's a 2007 Ventura Automatic, made to commemorate the Ventura's 50th anniversary in a limited production run of 1957 pieces.

It's ironic that Hamilton decided to commemorate the world's first electric watch with an ETA 2824-2 powered piece, but I'm not complaining. Two years ago I got a quartz Ventura for my wife and found myself wishing that they made an automatic version, so I jumped at the chance when I heard that they were making these.
