for the Patek lovers, this is a very rare super high end piece ...
First I would like to thank Jacques Degreef otherwise I could not share those pics. It was the first time in my life I saw a Patek 10 days tourbillon. This was already a good feeling. I can't describe how it felt when I was allowed to 'play' with it between 10.00 and 11.30 this morning.
Those pics are the best I could do but believe me, this watch gives you shivers. I could always sell my house and buy this watch but I have a strange feeling my girlfriend would not like the idea LOL So I better stop dreaming. Such a piece will always be out of my league. BUT, if you really like the looks and want something similar (without the 10 days power reserve and ofcourse without the tourbillon) you can always try the 5124. At the fraction of the price you get a very good looking dress watch. |

Yes they sell for an arm and a leg, would LOVE to own one someday. My goodness, Patek is just.... Again one of the few watches on leather straps I would ever own and wear.

Still a lot of green for the 5124. BTW, this model is known as the NUll, it's a big watch, I think the length is about 51mm and the width is 29mm and it is pure Platinum (again correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not sure about the size). I guess most of the money goes for the case.

I also saw one of these watches at an AD last week, in all its packaging.
The price was a staggering £177,000 Its not my cup of tea, but still a stunning look watch all the same. Thanks for the great photos.

And thanks for the pics Bruno. I had one in my hands last year in Geneva at the Salon, and it was very difficult letting go of it. They had to pry it away from me I walked out with a 5296 instead.

Both are nice, and I'll likely never be rich enough to justify either, let alone the tourbillon.

Good grief!!! Those babies should be in a museum or something, or locked away in a time capsule.

My father is in the arms and legs business.
A good non myo electric arm is about 13k, A top of the line Carbon fiber leg is 22k, so that watch is more than an arm and a leg. Of course I wouldn't trade in my real arms and legs for that PP. Awesome watch nonetheless |
