Just one datapoint - Doha airport, not far off US prices, very good selection though (2xSS black Daytonas available last time I visited!)

I spent 6 months in the UAE years ago (Oct 02-Apr 03) and vividly remember prices were MUCH lower vs. US. Cannot remember the AD but it was in Dubai. Best of luck.

I bought my wife a Rolex in the Dubai airport 10 years ago while living in the region. It was 20% less than the cost (including tax) for same watch in the US at the time.

Hi, Prices here can be lower in Dubai if one asks for a discount. But don't expect a big difference. I have bought watches from other countries and received a discount and received tax back that combined worked out lower than through the ADs here.
The Dubai airport Duty Free is not with it, it is 10% lower than the shops and no discount as far as I know. You can find a Rolex shop in every mall in Dubai, Agents - Seddigi and Sons - and they are great. |

The beauty of Seddiqi and Sons is the choice and their ability to get you a particular model. There is a great deal on this forum about their outlets.
They ordered me a Dated Sub last year and it arrived within six days, I was unable to get one in the UK at the time. They gave me a 24 hour window to collect the watch before they would sell the watch to another. I still negotiated a discount even though it was ordered for me which put them in a very strong position. I had bought a watch previously from them. Service and choice is very good. Very busy outlets however, pick your time to visit. |

A colleague bought at Doha airport, same watch was +/- 20% cheaper here in the EU if bought from trusted grey sellers.

The Rolex boutique in the Dubai Mall (near Burj Khalifa) has the best selection of any AD I've been in. It's a Seddiqi & Sons store, so if they don't have it in stock, they can likely get it from one of their other stores in town the same day. Seddiqi typically discounts better than Al Khoori & Sons in Abu Dhabi (the other of the two Rolex distributors).
I have found that the RRP here is the same as the US. There is no sales tax. The 'standard' discount for SS (other than Daytona) is 12%. PM discount starts at 15%. The Doha Airport boutique had better prices than Dubai. Stores in Doha itself though were quite high priced. If you know you'll be going through the airport, call ahead and they can arrange to have your watch there. |

I found buying ex VAT in the UK to be cheaper than buying here in UAE. Prices are the same here in all stores and the standard discount is given before you even ask.
