Lonjen watches....any info at all?

A man whom I know from work brought a Lonjen watch for me to look at. I know nothing of these watches and can find out very little about them. This is a vintage watch I would guess from the 50's or 60's. Wasn't prepared to to take photos, but just wondered if anyone know anything about these watches.

This one looked to be of decent quality, applied markers/numerals and stones looking like diamonds. Maybe they are but I doubt it. The Bezel was cross hatched nicely in a diamond pattern, and it has a stretch band that looks likely orginal. Sub Second hand and five stars on the case back.

If anyone can shed any light on this subject I would appreciate it. There is a Lonjen on the bay right now, but this one is much nicer looking with more appointments.

Thanks in advance,
Patrick

A quick search seems to say that Lonjen is one of those defunct brands, some models carrying anti-magnetic features. If it's gold plated or gem encrusted the only value would be in the recovery of those precious and/or semi-precious features. As for horological merit, there doesn't seem to be any.

Longen or Longines? I've had a few Longines before, and they are pretty cool vintage watches. They are like the old Omega seamasters at a glance. I've never heard of longen.
