Green pouch, not gold lettering, I asked for 2, got 2.

Glad to get this baby back. Most common rolex everyone has, take it next level on a strap!

It's like brand new again. That's the feeling I get when I picked up mine at RSC here in BH.

lol it WAS brand new - then i jumped out of a heated rooftop pool and did a back flop into a snow drift... smacked the bezel at just the right angle and popped out the ceramic - put a scuff or two on the scallops. $1200 for service and new bezel.

Just curious - was the Sub on that strap when you flopped into snow drift? And was it also on that strap when you took it to RSC?

Glad you've got it back like new + those two $600 pouches

that is funny... i had to think for a minute - are those pouches worth that much money.... and then i remembered the invoice lol.. good 1.

i had the watch on a 3 stripe back and grey nato strap with aciernox rolex clasp (a clasp with the rolex crown but engraved aciernox on the back)

they set the watch time and date for me and put it BACK ON THE NATO.

it's true and i wasn't sure if they'd yank that from me and point to the crown etc so i brought an extra strap with me - and chose distressed leather because it's new and thought i'd like it. i bought it for my explorer but it looks good on the black dial sub and i'm wearing brown shoes and brown belt so i thought i'd keep the flow. i do things different on the watch than most.

has the blnr, on super jubilee ;)

never call it batman though, i'm not a fan of anything outside coke, pepsi, rootbeer.

but if you wanted to call my LV the hulk, i can ensure you there is nobody else who has theirs on a green everest - truly hulking it out.

cheapeastnatostraps.com

i have also bought perlon straps from whatchsdotcom.com

check out their instagram page for both.

i got them in bone, blue, this vintage brown and 2 others ordered in the wrong size and given to my son for his air king. whoops.

i have also found some beautiful Eulit brand perlon watches on ebay for $15 or so.

check post "do you even perlon" for more pictures of fun unique watches & style.

i put it on this leather nato and i'm really loving it. great vibe. they made a big deal like they polished it and whatever but there was not a mark (outside for the one i put on it) on it. either way it's flawless.

you know, it was like 5 weeks old but not my only watch. 1 week i was in the dominican so maybe i wore this thing like 7 days... maybe that many.

That wasn't something warranty would cover?

chad you're beautiful!!

this was a good one because:
a) i smacked it myself so warranty doesn't cover that
b) i opened up a can of worms because i bought that grey market and danielle at rsc told me there was no warranty because i'm not the original buyer - which opened up a can of worms about if you have the card and the pencil is wrong or the date is written crooked or any of these reasons to give you a hard time and tell you to pay for the service - then there you are. a lot of posts were about that and even more - questioning what all the trusted sellers with the 5 year warranty really meant anything. card follows owner or watch? to be determined lol.

but - just know i have a brand new 2 year warranty on this watch which i'll place on top of the 5 year card in my safe - knowing that if anything other than it running outside of COSC in the next 2 years = i'll have to pay for it myself.

What do you think of the leather straps from cheapeastnatostraps? Almost all of the reviews are positive, but there are a few saying they were disappointed with the leather quality. But what do you expect for $20...

I love the look, but if the quality of the leather isn't that great, I rather spend more to get a better strap.

I have purchased their product before and I liked it. The only problem I had was my Submariner ceramic was in the service center and I was putting the leather straps on my explorer 2 the ceramic Submariner with a tighter fit with the spring bars and so when I went to rip the leather strap out between it is stripped which is my fault not poor manufacturing. That didn't happen with the other one but next time I see you just slowly remove the strap.
