At last, a year where bling bling takes the back seat! It was about time!!!

My main questions are...
is this a new chromalight or the same as what came before? Its advertised as "Highly legible Chromalight display with long-lasting blue luminescence" which is the same sentence as in the earlier models...
And what about the new Exp1, is the only difference with the previous version the longer hands (at last!)?
