The Integrated Bezel

Not discussed much here which surprises me because I think it's a HUGE step for a company like Rolex which moves at a very slow and conservative pace. A bezel which is connected to a function of the actual movement as opposed to an independent feature.

Currently only on the YMII and Sky Dweller models. I wonder if this will be extended to other models and if so, in what manner. Or, what other types of complications this might apply to. Thoughts?

I think it's amazing, and very innovative, especially on the Sky Dweller.

There are patents filed by Rolex that show some sort of GMT feature controlled by the bezel in some way. Other members here can explain it better, but it looks very intriguing from what I can make out. Can't wait to see what it turns out to be.

I guess topics like "which Rolex should I buy to match my AMG" gets more interest around here. Not exactly a hotbed of serious watch discussion. Oh well.

Only problem with integrated bezel on GMT is it might make it difficult to time things like with the submariner. If it removed my ability to do this it would be a non starter for me. Does this make sense ?
