From Russia... With No Love

Last night I saw the Washington Kastles WTT (World Team Tennis) match. It was the last of the team's home games. Being the first season, there is a makeshift open air arena. We had some bad rain last night, so midway through the 3rd match it got moved indoors to a small facility across town.

Anyway, long story short - I ended up sitting 4 feet from the net at the center of the court. 5 feet from the players bench, and from the reason for the title of this thread...

EOS-5D ISO 3200(4000 actual) with +1/3 EV in camera. 80mm 1/250 sec @ f4

Tons more photos, but no time...

Heh. Thanks. The sensor really is super clean as long as you expose the image correctly. This is a 50% crop (full pixel resolution cut in half) with zero sharpening and zero noise reduction.

ISO 3200 (4000 actual)

Was she playing against a wall? I just wondered as there seems to be no opponent. Now why could that be?

If I'd been there, I would have concentrated on Anna as well.

its funny that I see this thread here today. Yesterday I spent the afternoon with Cynthia's little cousin, and sometimes I feel that he is not exposed to enough "manly stuff" dont get me wrong it has nothing to do with caveman stuff, but just in general I felt that he was in a bubble of geekiness and I really felt he didnt get enough exposure to the kind of stuff I was exposed to at the age of 13.... well all worries were erased when we were surfing through the channels on tv and he told me stop on the channel where ladies tennis was on LOL! seeing him in a trance focused on those tennis players erased all worries in my mind that his only heroes were Bill Gates and Steve Jobs
