Green case back sticker
I purchased a used P serial bluesy several years ago with a green sticker on the case back. I can't seem to bring myself to get rid of it. Anyone else kept theirs, or is the general consensus to take it off?

I had mine on my Y serial Sub for at least 10 years until I had it serviced.

My Day-Date still has the green sticker; I just never removed it. None of my other watches has one still attached.

I always remove them. Just a breeding ground for germs, and I prefer the feel of cold steel to warm plastic on my wrist.

The green line sticker stays on until it falls off.

I would take it off if I ever bought new, my Day Date still had it on after 15 years so I just left it there.

Kept it on my 16710 for a few years until the gold print wore off then removed it.

All my stickers are removed, case back as well. I regularly swim in the ocean with my SDc, last thing I need is the gunk I swim in to get smushed into a nasty case back sticker.

I don't want stickers on my watch, I removed it on mine as soon as I got the watch.

My stickers came off by themselves I started wearing my catch everywhere and some stickers peeled off with my coat. Then the others just came off when they got wet. I would have liked for them to stay on longer but my subc didn't seem to want to keep em

I've noticed that people will sometimes use the presence of the original sticker to indicate that the watch has not been polished (as presumably the sticker would be removed as part of that polishing). That may be a minor reason to keep it on.

I've never gotten the "leave it on" idea. They no longer come with them but when they did, it came off first day (but I did keep it with the paperwork).

Thanks for all the replies folks! I appreciate all the various opinions and thoughts. I think that I will take it off as I do like the feel of cold steel against my wrist as with my other watches. Besides, I'm going to most likely loose it in a month or so when she goes off for service anyway!!

Took it out of my new 16610 few years after buying it; none of my subsequent Rolexes (bought used) had them so no action required

I removed all the protective stickers as I love the feel of the cool rolex steel on my wrist.

Leaving the sticker on is the equivalent of leaving the tags hanging on your baseball cap...

I have never been one of those guys that leaves protective coatings on anything. Life is too short, enjoy things the way they were intended

The RSC NYC removed mine for me when the watch went in for service in 2012.
It was just like the one pictured above and had the model number on it. They did make a note of it on my work order paperwork. It read something like removed green case back sticker. Not sure if they would do the same to the clear plastic ones. I have since removed them from all my watches.
