Batman Blnr or the Yachtmaster 40 Everose oysterflex?

Which watch to get, if money wasn't an option, which one would you get as a lifetime everyday wear watch? The blnr or the yachtmaster 40 RG oysterflex?

When faced with a difficult buying decision between two watches, always pick the more expensive watch. That way if you don't like it, you can flip it for the other one. Which you can't do (well without taking a beating), if you pick the lesser expensive one.

I do like the look of the yacht master but not too keen on the ever rose gold. But if it could be in stainless steel with the rubber strap, then this is the one I would want.

BLNR is easy choice for me. Rubber band and rose don't do it for me.

116655 is a great looking watch in my opinion. Vintage vibe and very modern elements is a winner.

Assuming cost is out of the equation, I would still choose the BLNR. One of the best all-around Rolex watches currently available.

Still not sure about the Oysterflex bracelet and RG combo.

Personally, I flipped the blnr twice. I tried to like it. I really wanted to.

For me, the YM is the best all around watch. I've always had a bias towards rubber tho. I much prefer them to steel, for both looks and comfort. And the design of the oysterflex is so far an unheralded marvel of modern engineering.

While I like your conclusion

I think op will take a greater beating flipping the YM than the blnr.

YM ... that was one of their most beautiful watches released at Basel that year.
It's stunning and a great all-arounder. Looks awesome worn casually or with a suit ... oh wait, as does every other Rolex! lol

These are two great watches. I'd go for blnr if only, but YM if a small fleet

BLNR for sure.

If the YM was on bracelet that would be a tough choice.

Tough choice

It's going to be a tough choice, seeing how I actually like black rubber type bracelets on watches, rose gold and the matte black cerachrom bezel I might be leaning towards the yachtmaster but I'm going to try it on tomorrow and we'll see how it fits on my wrist compared to the SS bands. I'll keep y'all posted but keep the input coming!

You listed two watches.

Which did you post a picture of?

I'd argue the opposite, actually. You'll recoup more of the original purchase price when flipping a steel professional Rolex versus a PM model, and take a bigger "beating" when trying to flip the other way.

I don't know about that really ...
BLNR for me ... Beautiful , comfortable, and extremely
versatile compared to the YM in ever rose and on rubber...
Rubber for everyday? Not for me !!! Get what makes your
heart beat and really sings to you ... Best of wishes on your
final choice ...

BLNR smokes YM RG for everyday daily wear
IMHO!!! Price not being a factor ...
If you really want to spend that kind of money then
Consider the BLRO, SMURF or YG Bluesy!!!
Best wishes !!! These are much nicer daily wearers on that
Level if u ask me !!!
