UK AD supplied GMT C box info
Hi, could someone tell me what should have been in the box?
I received: outer white cardboard sleeve, inner box (yellow/green with crown emblem). Green inner box, warranty card in leather holder, manual on its own, cloth over watch and two hang tags. Also bezel protector and plastics over watch. Looking at some photos on here it looks like the warranty and manual come in a black cardboard sleeve with a cut out to show the warranty card through it and some other literature, i didnt get this and when i picked up the watch from the AD i asked where the manaul was and she had to go and get it. Thanks.

In the USA we get the cardboard box. In the UK you get the leather holder..

at least you got the cloth. I am confused why my AD did not give me any cloth. and when i asked for one, she said it was inside the box, but was not there when i got home. im thinking my AD kept some stuff because she sold me a daytona at retail with no previous purchases. had to get something out of it i guess.

I think Rolex and their packaging and lack of freebies is a joke for such an expensive watch. Would it kill them to give away a few rubber straps with a Sub or SD???? I mean they are diver's watches!!!! As for the non production of anchors...I was gutted when I didn't get mine!!!! All these guys who talk about wallets and magnifying glasses and diaries and pens from their AD's...I'd be lucky to get a coffee and feel over the moon if they send me a catalogue!!!!!!!!! Bah Humbug! J |
