Buying a New Rolex at Sears

curious how this online concept works...does Sears receive a sales commission from the first-tier seller? it kind of reminds me of Amazon.

Sears is trying to be amazon so they have a marketplace and anyone can sell anything, would definitely not buy through them.

They probably get 5%commision and more if you use a Sears credit card. At least they are trying

If you look closely these watches comes from other online sellers like Jomashop. I wouldn't buy it from this site. Rather buy from trusted sellers here.

Says right there they are being sold buy Chronoshop, whoever that is. Yep, they are trying to pull an Amazon. Sears always seems to be a little late to the party, surprised they are still in business.

Is sears still even open? Lol

Their marketplace feature is atrocious (first hand experience from years back). Amazon is nowhere near perfect but light years ahead of everyone on that front.

I wouldn't touch sears with a ten foot barge pole. Here's my trusty AD. I got a great 2 for 1 deal, on some rolexes last week.

buying from an online portal putting one in touch with online re-sellers? strange. what customers drop 48k on a platinum DD that way?

I would not do it and the prices don't appear competitive. You just added another middle man.
