Talk me out of this. Visconti speakeasy...

I've been eyeing a palladium stub nib for a while now and a Visconti speakeasy has come up for a crazy deal. I'm reallllly tempted but it's a HUGE pen. Probably to hold the advertised 1oz of alcohol. Can't say I wouldn't actually use it regularly either lol. The alcohol reservoir that is Tell me I'm crazy! There's contrasting colors. Massive pen. Low ink reservoir. All kinds of madness.

I think it's a lovely pen so no, I don't think I will talk you out of it
I would never use it to hold drink but the pen itself is very nice. If you're getting a good deal on it why not. I'd say go for it. I rarely use all the ink in my pen before I would like to change so usually end up washing out some of it, which means I could actually easily live with a smaller ink reservoir anyway.

I'm currently thinking about ordering 2 vistconti pens myself very soon.
I'm trying to talk myself out of ordering 3 of them. I've just hit an unfortunate time that they happen to have 3 pens at the moment that I really like

Yeah me too. I'm always swapping ink out before the converter is done. I'm probably going to put in for one of these. Just trying to put off the inevitable I guess. What Visconti's are you looking at??

Not to add to your list but I saw some pics from Basel where Visconti had a divina in stacked celluloid not unlike a Wall Street or manhatten. Instantly added it to my hit list once it's available

Is that the one that is the same as the Green wall street but it's in Grey.
If so I've seen it and it's very nice. I think I prefer the green one though.

The one I saw looked green but could be gray. There's also a cosmopolitan it seems without the twisted silver trim.

I got a hold of Bryant at Chatterley Luxuries and asked about that stacked celluloid Divina. He didn't have exact details just yet but said they should be out later this year and msrp might be around $1200 kind of big $$ but I'm hoping he has a discounted price on those.
