New purchase help

If the watch is removed of all stickers etc, what should the ad give me when I purchase.

Should all protective stickers be provided. If not do I reject the watch . Or should I be asking for a sealed untouched watch.

I do not know how long been in the window etc..

Thanks

If an AD is selling it, the warranty is the same.

Why do you want the stickers? You should get the box, warranty card etc.

Some people order sealed watches if that is important to you.

Hi,

The stickers aren't a big deal really. When I bought my Oyster Perpetual back in March I asked the AD to take all the stickers off there and then so I wouldn't have to worry about it. As long as you have the watch, the box, a valid and completed guarantee card and the instruction booklet, you've basically got a full set.

Indeed. I felt nothing when the stickers were removed.

If it's an unstickered display watch, look it over carefully for marks/scratches that the owner should get to put on the watch first.

Do you really care about the stickers or are you just looking for a discount?

Agreed - my thoughts as well.

I would not reject the watch (or ask the AD to provide the removed stickers - irrelevant, at that point), but would examine it for any surface scratches.

I would want one with stickers on if I was purchasing new. I know it'll come off right away but at least I know there's not hundreds of people tried it on before me. When I bought my last car I saw it still wrapped up in storage. I am strange that way.

Stickers are meant to be removed, so don't really care for them if I'm getting a better price!

If the watch is pristine, I don't care if the store removes the stickers. If it isn't totally perfect, I don't want it. I ask to have a watch, or whatever, that has not been on display. I've never been refused. I have had to wait for a totally new one to be ordered.

Welcome to the forum. It wouldn't matter to me, so long as it's unworn

I love peeling off my own stickers, but I wouldn't make it a big deal if it's unworn/pristine...

Sometimes I think people actually want to wear these things with stickers.... If the watch is perfect just be glad the dealer tried to make life easier by helping you take them off.

I want stickers on, a few people will have already tried on the watch so I want some protection from their paws. If I wasn't happy with a stickered one I'd order one in.

I like to peel off the stickers myself and put my own dna on it, would not buy a new watch with stickers removed.

My wife wore her watch and let the stickers come loose before she took them off. Made me a little nuts but I've read on here about people who leave them on and let them come off on their own. I don't get it but to each their own.
