A very poor man high in crack..

If you want to have a look-a-like daytona; buy the Invicta Speedway

....Or buy the Gevril Tribeca. A fine Swiss watch that's a clone of the Exotic dial Daytona..Out of print now and prices are moving skyward.

Sorry I think you may have posted the wrong pictures. I see a watch that in no way resembles a Daytona.

You guys should check out Tudor's chrono. Definite Daytona cues on that watch for less than half the price. ETA movement on the older models, though.

Zenith Rainbow's

Here are a couple Zenith Rainbows.

Rolex used Zenith El Primero movements in the Daytona before the latest ones with Rolex proprietary movement.

They are, for all extensive purposes, the same movement and can be found at 1/3 the price.

very nice watches......

This is why the Daytona isn't worth it, to me.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. That's a handsome watch, Dan. I'm still looking for one for myself. Must say they're a lot harder to find than a regular old Daytona.

i would suggest ...

I would suggest that a superb (lower price points) alternative would be Bell & Ross (vintage range), as follows

http://www.jurawatches.co.uk/watch.asp?productid=1464
OR
http://www.jurawatches.co.uk/watch.asp?productid=1465
etc

A brand with history and good watches in the own right without being 'copies'

and this one
http://www.lussori.com/bell-and-ross...120-watch.html

they come in both automatic and quartz
