Maybe a white MK2 ... started to be produced in 1977/1978

Need a better picture of the writing, particularly the 660 on the dial. Could be a mark 2 as suggested about or a service dial as they do look similar to each other. If it's from '72 my guess is service dial as should be a red

Looks like a "toothpaste" service dial. Open 6s in the text and the 'f' extends under the A.

Inside case says iv 72 which is fourth quarter of 1972, Rolex started making all white dial in first quarter 1973. So it may have been an all white hard to know with Rolex back then. I was told all original but now they say a service dial but have no idea when changed. When exposed to bright sunlight it will glow white in dark for a time which is also confusing.

The hands do not glow only the markers and pearl.

It's a service dial. The owner is confused but nothing confusing about the dial.
