rare omega?give me your knowledge!!
hey guys,
a good friend of mine says he has a pairly rare omega "soccer" watch-anyone ever heard of one of these?here are a couple of pics. |

There is a VERY big chance that it might be a replica or some sort of Franken-watch.
Omega made one soccer timer model, and it was powered by the 861 just like the moonwatch. To MY knowledge, none of the "football timer" models had the crown at 10 o'clock and none had the odd circular markings. Just to make sure, I spent about half an hour researching this and I was not able to find that particular mode. What I did find is that they are not cheap those says and they can go anywhere between 2500 to 10,000 USD depending on condition, box, papers etc.
