Breitling Avenger Hurricane
Saw this thing in ads. I never really liked Breitlings much. I currently own a Pam 90 and a Rolex Sub Bluesy. That massive 50mm looks nice in pictures. Anyone here owns one? What do you guys think of it?

I've seen and handled it myself.
While 50mm does sound big (especially with the Super Avenger bulky case), I've seen it fitting some wrists pretty nicely. Also, the Breitlight finish is really nice. Keep in mind that it displays military time with a 24h dial but in a watch collection it becomes a great addition and it's not nearly as hard to read as one would think. Having an old Cosmonaute myself, you get used to it quickly.

What do you think of the plastic casing? Some reviews are saying a luxury watch should not be plastic (the "Breitlight" material). Would the material affect the watch over the long term?

Do you mean value wise when you talk about affecting the watch? If so, only time will tell but I think cases and bracelets are subject to being improved and up to new inovations much like movements. Breitlight is said to have many advantages to make it last a long time.
