Removing Stem from Datejust

Good morning everyone, I need a bit of help this morning. I have a Datejust with a 3035 movement and I know there's a small button to push for stem removal but I was wondering what position the crown needs to be in. Does the crown need to be in the first, second or third position when I push the button and pull the crown out?
I've done this tons of times on my eta watches but I was a bit more wary of doing it in my Datejust, I'd just like to put some loctite on my crown and stem.

Thanks for the help
