Very dramatic. My opinion is that they should have confiscated the vehicle if it was proven that the law was broken, sold it and donated the money recovered to the needy. Just seems such a waste of money to me.

They wanted to make a point. Nothing more. I'm sure they don't do this with every illegally imported car.

Who would be dumb enough to register a Lamborghini as a Ford? Should have at least taken the VIN off a wrecked Lambo.

The Taiwanese Government doesn't mess around. Don't ever get caught with drugs there. This is the sign in the airport:

Merciless!
I have to hand it to the heavy equipment operator. He really knows how to handle that machine.

Far more entertaining than just dropping into a crusher, though a lambo cube would have been a nice lawn ornament.

Luckily it would be faster for a human, than for the car. But yes, when I saw that video my only thought was, why destroy it? Definitely better to auction it off and... more money for the state.

Slightly off topic but gut wrenching just the same, Dodge did the same thing with pre production Vipers. Went so far as to pull them from auto shop classes that they were donated to just to crush them with bull dozers. Again more
