GMT Batman

Afternoon,

Apologies for my ignorance, do genuine Batman references have a white 'GMT fourth hand' as all that I have seen have a blue fourth hand.

Thanks for your support.

The 24hr hand should be Blue not White.

So if there was a 'Batman' with a white coloured 24 hour hand, it has had a bezel change? However the fundamentals of the movement and the watch are exactly the same, just the dealer probably tried to get more money as the Batman is more desirable?

A friend has just purchased one and it has a white 24 hour hand. Which looks strange, I wanted someone to coment who knew a lot more than me.

I don't think any Rolex watch has ever left Geneva with a white 24hr hand.

(may stand corrected on that one)

I would suggest if your friends GMT has a white 24hr hand its either been modified somehow by a previous owner or its not a genuine Rolex.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

"Batman" is a cartoon character and may have any color of hands...

The GMT BLNR watch only has a blue 24 hr hand. Anything else and the watch may not be an authentic Rolex watch..

Most likely a fake as even the black dial gmt has a green hand. Something doesn't add up. Also this is the vintage forum

Nope - not even the fakes make that - so may be an aftermarket "theme"??
