Nice. When the top's up, though, it looks a lot like the Maserati.

Nice find Frostie. I lust after Ferrari's. The exhaust note alone is worth the price of admission. I have to say though, a 599GTB or F430 with a manual gearbox is more my speed.

The old manual gearbox is gone if my memory is correct on all ferraris now all of them are equipped with a flappy paddle gearbox which basically is a manual gearbox connected to an auto clutch that will do the change automatically when you want it flick the paddle. The most advanced ferrari gearbox so far is the one that the F430 scudderia has and the change is done in only 70 milliseconds which is faster than blinking your eyes now that's what i call technology

The FX150 ferrari will have a 50 millisecond gearbox totally crazy

You gotta love the ferrari sound but i dont like the looks of modern ferraris to be honest

If you take the ferrari badge off and look at it you realise that they are not good looking cars at least thats what i think about ferraris

I havent seen a beautiful ferrari since the F355 and the 360 modena

The F430 is good looking but it has strange proportions

Maybe the looks aren't to your liking these days, but a Ferrari is still a Ferrari, and there aren't too many cars made that can match it on the road. To my mind, the 599GTB is lovely and a beast of a performer to boot.

I will rephrase. Regardless of its iteration, I prefer my gearboxes to have manual capability. Paddle shifters with the specs you listed are okay by me.

No slushboxes for me, no matter how good they are!

I can relate to the 84 miles before fill up.
My buddy has a F430, his first tank lasted 200km (120miles)
He is on "the list" for a Red California too.
Lucky bugger
