SubND 14060 Bezel Question?
Hi fellow watch enthusiast!
I recently purchased a 5 digit 14060 Sub ND... and I absolutely love it!!! But there is only 1 thing that bugs me, or maybe I'm doing something wrong? I am one that uses the bezel on Dive watches a couple of times a day. But to turn the bezel on this watch has been difficult. I guess it's because the bezel is thinner and angled down? But I can't explain it..... have you guys encountered this problem? And if so, what method of turning have you found to consistently work? Thank you.... I appreciate any comments! It may simply need to be cleaned or have the spring checked.

Mine turns easily, try running it under warm water while turning it, use a baby's toothbrush with some Dawn dish detergent to scrub gently between the bezel and the case. I bet it's just gunked up under the bezel.

Pop the bezel off and clean the gunk out from the grooves.

Yep as posted above. Almost certainly dirty. Be careful when you take the bezel off because the little spring/clip is very easy to lose. Do it in a place that it can be located easily if dropped. I had to clean my Sub many times and it became second nature taking the bezel off and putting it back on but the first time it wasn't so easy to do either, get it off or put it back on lol.

Oh. And you said you like to use yours daily. There is a spring that will allow you to rotate the bezel in both directions if you ever wanted to be able to do that. Probably not a great idea for diving (timing oxygen levels) but it can be done.

The bezel on the Rolex sub has nothing to do with timing oxygen levels. You have an pressure gauge that measure the lbs in your tank. Everybody breathes at different rates and 3,000 lbs of air last different for everyone. The bezel times things like total botom time, safety stops.
