Please be on the lookout for a vintage 6262 Daytona Cosmograph sn 253xxx

Stolen from a motor vehicle in Marlborough, MA in September 2017

Reported to police, I'm in the process of reporting to Rolex.

Reward offered for information leading to the return.

Bummer, sorry to hear that.

Did they just lucky and your watch was in there or do you think they knew about it?

I grew up in marlborough on Elm street back in the day...used to go to Richer School. wonder if it's still around.

Hi John, I'm stunned if my assumption is correct that it is the same watch that you posted about when you joined the forums. You recovered it from an early 90s theft and now it's stolen again. You have a long history with the watch. I hope it finds its way back to you again.

Copied and pasted in order to help appear in search engines, the bigger this thread gets, and the more that serial number is repeated, the better your odds. I hope it is returned safely!

linking to the thread helps too, maybe link to this from fb/twitter/blog?. repeating keywords worked well for alta vista optimization.

Thank you all for the suggestions and blasting out the serial number.

At this time I'm reluctant to post any more information about the theft (other than the serial / model) publicly.
I am meeting with the detective tomorrow.
