"Girls Coffeeshop Talk" (for guys)

Every time I see that STICKY, it's like a magnet: I want to go in and see what's going on!

At the very least, shouldn't the male participants here have something that sorta, I dunno, provides an outlet, if not alternative?

PS: If so, I'd welcome the girls to visit every so often.

We lobbied for a "Garage Talk" thread/sticky, but it didn't make it... You'll have to do wha the rest of us do - hijack the girls' thread or make your own new one everytime you want to talk about something.

This whole "Open Discussion Forum" is a garage for folks to chat. IMO no need to segregate it further from the dedicated watch talk.

Oh, I'm by no means advocating segretation or even not including the women here.

It's just one of those things that catches my attention. And then, perhaps by some quirk of personality, drives me to act in this way.

Remember that line from Tomorrow Never Dies, where the female agent is praised by James Bond for some skills she's demonstrated - which she responds by associating w/ how she grew up.

She then praises 007 for how he handled the motorcyle they'd just ridden, and he said that came "from never growing up at all."

Yup: I'm a James Bond guy through and through.

One of the best parts of The Coffee Shop is when the guys drop in! We always have so much fun. Heck...we're women....we LOVE company!
