Just a little heads up for DJ41 owners or anyone that might benefit from a little adjustment on clasps that allow this.

There is an easy link extension, but there are also three slots for where the easy link sits.

I only needed a single link removed, but it was a tiny bit too snug. That outer slot made it perfect.

There is a surprising amount of adjustment that can be achieved.

Those three slots are not explicitly mentioned in the manual. They are in the diagrams though.

I have a DateJust 41 and I have not been able to get the easy link to budge in either direction, even though I'm following the directions in the diagram. Earlier today, I took it to a local, high end jeweler (but not AD) and he adjusted it for me. He told me that it couldn't just be adjusted by hand, but that instead you had to have a tiny screwdriver to push in the pins for the three slots. This is inconsistent with what I've seen on Youtube videos. Are you able to adjust yours by hand, or does yours require tools? What am I doing wrong?

I think you’re confusing easy link adjustment and the clasps micro adjustment. They are two different things. Adjusting the three micro adjust positions requires a tool. Opening/closing the easy link extension is tool free.

Yes, I did word that incorrectly. I didn't mean the three clasps position adjustment. I meant the easy link adjustment. The instructions in the diagram show it to be tool free, as so many Youtube videos that I've seen, yet I can't get my easy link to budge. The jeweler today told me that it requires a tool and that I should ignore the diagram instructions because "Rolex always makes it look easier than it is." I don't think that is correct, yet I can't get my easy link to work by hand. I just can't figure out what I am doing wrong.

To pull the EZ link in the "out" or "extended" position, you must pull with a decent amount of force. It will simply "pop" out. To put it back in, you simply fold it back over, push, and it will "click" back into place. My point is there is that some force is required.

To adjust the easylink, you need to pull the bracelet up and away from the inside of the clasp. Once you see it, it’s obvious. Until then, I have felt your pain. It’s super easy once you get it down. Maybe post a pic and we can talk u through it?

The easy link should simply pop in and out. No tool required.

There is a fold though. Maybe that's what you're not seeing?

It folds and clicks into the closed position. When you open it, there is a clear snap as it extends. It does not then click into some open position.

I feel like I'm not explaining this clearly.

Edit : as others have said, you need to apply a bit of force to get to snap open. More force than you might think.

The drawing is clear. It shows the three slots of the micro adjustment in the clasp, printed white.
The easy link is the one link attached to the clasp printed in green.
If you pop it open than you should be able to extend it, which looks different than a normal link, or close it by pushing and than it looks similar like an ordinary link from the inside.
You can choose if you want it extended or not and simply pop the easy link back in the clasp. It really snaps/clicks in the clasp.

No tools required, very simple.

Thanks Syed! I didn't know it had the 3 micros adjustments in there. Its already very comfortable but now I will "dial it in" further.
