Anyone hear of any Carbotech issues?

I’ve seen one with a worn section on each of the two lugs on the back side. The owner says it’s from the fork end of the spring bar removal tool. I was planning on getting a 661 and now this guys 661 has a possible issue. Anyone else experience this? Should I skip the Carbotechs?

I'm not sure they have been around long enough yet. I haven't heard of any problems.

I've heard of the finish picking up patina such that it darkens and the pattern becomes a bit less distinct, but not of a structural problems.
